Charter School Website

I had the privilege to work with a local group of charter schools to design and develop their website. These are two home page design directions that I originally presented. The first is a bit more playful and incorporates some illustrative elements. They eventually decided on the second, simpler design.

The schools had only been around for about a year at the start of the project but already had 6 campuses in the Memphis area– including one high school. They had branding developed before the website project began so we expanded upon their existing brand and helped them create a delightful and intuitive user experience for the parents, students, and teachers who would be accessing it daily.

This project begun before COVID which had us pivot a bit just as everyone else was at the time. The schools had to adjust to ever-changing news. There were a lot of details (and content) to iron out in this project, which is always fun to problem-solve and help clients think in terms of future scaling. Because of how life was so uncertain at the time of this project, I really think it helped me think "on my toes" more. Super proud of this site and how it turned out.
