Human Connection In A Time Of COVID
We’ve all been feeling it. We want connection, a hug, a kiss, to share a blunt, a drink, an ice cream cone with a friend, without fear. A world where passing strangers can once again see our smile and not just the slight crinkle in our eyes. We’ve experienced the aching pain of job loss, sickness, death, and the loss of even the smallest and simplest of joys. Misunderstandings between partners and family stuck under the same roof. Constant back and forth between “am I doing too much?” and “am I doing enough?” We all just keep missing each other by an inch. We are resilient though, one day this will all be a story we tell. In the meantime, protect each other, wear a mask and reach out (safely) to someone who may need to hear a friendly voice today.
