DailyUI #032 - Crowdfunding Campaign
Hey Dribbblers 👋
This is my #032 #DailyUI design.
Design Hint 💻 – Design a crowdfunding campaign. Keep in mind the purpose... raising funds. It's important to make it compelling if you're seeking money.
The Idea 💡 - The idea for today’s UI design is a crowdfunding campaign app for Android and iOS. The design will feature photography, a dynamic colour palette, blurred elements and nice typography.
Final Thoughts 🧠 – I like the way I’ve laid out the elements, with half the screen boldly displaying the eye-catching photograph and the other half displaying all the necessary informational elements. With the information, I like how all the “numbers” information is linked to the progress bar itself, so the user can just glance at the bar and see how well (or not well) the entire crowdfund is going. The “backers” part of the information block displays the number of total backers for a crowdfund and displays some of the most recent backer’s profile pictures, so the user can see who has backed; giving a better relationship from the entire community towards the end user. A short paragraph describing the crowdfund follows underneath, describing why the crowdfund started and how the end user’s pledge will help towards the goal, with a “More” button at the end functioning as a way of displaying a bigger picture. Finally, the interactive parts of the UI lie at the bottom of the screen (helping with overall UX with the placement of the average finger placement on mobile screens). The “pledge” box displays the amount of money the end user is willing to pledge, with it defaulting to ten pounds or whatever the theoretical crowdfund owner sets it as. A “Make a pledge!” button follows with simple functionality to proceed and make the pledge. I also like the example crowdfunds I designed around (the save the “Oceans” and “Forests”), it’s nice to design around nature sometimes. Overall, the combination of design techniques, along with the layout of elements makes for a really nice looking UI, and I think I’ve pulled that off, it’s been a fun and chilled day of designing!
