Cinecriticas is a cinema blog, where movies are reviewed and commented. DVD, Bluray releases or classics are included too, as well as curiosities and promotions. The blog runs since 2007 and ends up being a movie review guide so the user can have a previous or foward review about the movies it watches, as wel as comment and exchange ideas with the critic and with other users. With the new brand, the blog wanted its space to become more professional without losing the “opinion exchange” essence and have a brand strong enough to continue adding cinema lovers.

The challenge was to make a professional looking visual identity without losing the blog’s casual experience. With the fusion of two cinema elements, a strong brand was built using the base site colors. The objective is that the new identity gives the idea of a upgrade, rather than a radical change and making the transition more confortable for the readers.
