Portfolio - For An Academic Professional

I tried a little different tone for the portfolio.
My friend is doing phd in philosophy.
Normally, portfolios in this field have a mono tone to showcase a very strict academic and professional outlook.
My friend's work is in aesthetics. I thought I needed to add some flavor in his portfolio and break the usual monotonic approach.
I still have tried to maintain the professional and academic touch though.
