Hand Painted Phil Niekro Baseball Card

This card was one of the most minimal designs I have attempted to re-create. Phil Niekro was an amazing pitcher who mastered the knuckleball to pitch well into his 40's. Almost unheard of within any major sport. At the age of 48, Niekro was the oldest player in major league history to play regularly until Julio Franco, and his 24 seasons in the major leagues without a World Series appearance is a major league record. If anything, the man had incredible determination.
