It seems so long ago and also just like yesterday when I started this project in early April. A lot has changed since then in my personal life and much remains the same. Some of this journey was marked by a resurgence of Black Lives Matter #blacklivesmatter✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 and the horror of ongoing police brutality, racism, and horrendously shameful politics in the US. There were many times when I was exhausted after long work days and didn’t feel like I had the energy to be creative. But I really thrived on the accountability of this challenge. Definitely excited to take a temporary break but hope to continue to make drawing a routine ritual. [Draw one a day. Day 259]
