Pairing Mencken Ardoise

Very strange to see how two completely different typefaces (it isn't a superfamily at all) looks so compatibles in their shapes. Ok, they're built on same vertical metrics and from the same hand, still its weird.

The two typefaces are Ardoise (http://typofonderie.com/fonts/ardoise-family/) and a beta version of Mencken Text (http://www.zecraft.com/fonts/mencken), to be published in the future at Typofonderie.
