Rediscovery Wellness Logo Design

Here is a new logo I designed for Just Love More (www.justlovemore.org) for their Rediscovery Wellness program. This program is an initiative to treat mind, body, and spirit as equally important parts of the whole person. In their words: "It’s not enough to set aside a harmful behavior and expect everything to magically be okay. Whether we are recovering from substance use or a history of abusive relationships, an eating disorder or any other destructive mindset, there’s one fundamental truth that remains the same: We won’t recover until we are willing to learn what caused the behavior in the first place. In short, there is no RECOVERY without DISCOVERY. Rediscovery Wellness is for everyone, because we’re all recovering from something." For this project, the client had an initial idea in their head of how they wanted the logo to look and the elements that needed to be included. I worked within the scope of their vision and also developed some ideas that pushed beyond that so that we could have a wide scope of options when trying to pinpoint the perfect mark. In the end, we found that this mark, which had elements of the initial concept but combined them in a different way, was what was going to work best. The color palette we chose was because it paired well with the healthcare industry (with the darker greenish blues) but also had the pop of bright orange to really stand out. The folks at Just Love More are doing a LOT of great work, beyond even Rediscovery Wellness, and I encourage you to learn more about them and support them as you're able!
