[Branding Concept] Festival Pesona Hoyak Tabuik

Festival Pesona Hoyak Tabuik is a cultural, annual festival, held in the City of Pariaman (a coastal city in West Sumatra, Indonesia), in remembrance on the arrival of Muharram (one of the months in islamic calendar).

This logo contain several elements:
- Festival Pesona, a phrase from Indonesian, translates to “Festival of Beauty”
- The main colors on this logo: Tangerine, Yellow and Black, refers to the colors of flags used in ceremonies held by the Minangkabau society.
- Tabuik, refers to a towering funeral biers carried around during the parade (symbolically, the Tabuik do not contain corpses and such)
- Hoyak Tabuik (Tabuik Parade) is one of the main attraction of the festival, accompanied by ceremonial drums, which lifted up the spirit of those who listened to it.
