HP Access Catalog: Reporting

While building the HP Access Catalog platform, we realized we needed a way to view data on app utilization and other metrics

Platform managers would be able to report and pull analytics on their app usage directly from the platform

We relied heavily on researching both other app stores (android and iOs) as well as e-commerce back ends that were already built within HP to build our concepts and ideas

We believe administrators of the Catalog need a way to report on the data in order to make informed decisions about the applications on the platform

Reporting is something an administrator really needs to have access to when maintaining the platform in order to make the proper decisions on how to maintain the platform

We went forward with the assumption that some sort of reporting was necessary because we felt if nothing else analytics were something that, if not used by the administrator of the platform could be used in other capacities
