DailyUI #028 - Contact Us
Salve Dribbblers 👋
This is my #028 #DailyUI design.
Design Hint 💻 - Design a Contact Us page or form. Is it for customer support? A purchase inquiry? To schedule an appointment? Think about a scenario and the most important feature it would require.
The Idea 💡 - The idea for today’s UI design is a web-based contact form for a theoretical company that offers certain unknown services. I want the entire page to reflect the company's stature and confidence. So, the design will incorporate a fixated photograph of the company's office building (as a way of showing off that confidence), the design will also have neumorphic elements throughout, while keeping the overall layout simple and minimal - for aesthetics and also for the straight-forward-ability and ease of use.
Final Thoughts 🧠 - At this stage of write up I think the design is near enough what I imagined it to be. The bold office photograph to the right symbolising the stature of the company (random office building), with the blurred background and simple yet beautiful form to the left makes the entire design just feel 'right'. The form includes three input boxes (name, email and message) for extreme ease of use, while permitting the user to also go into as much detail as they want about their issue. The monochromatic/greyscale colour palette was a decision made halfway through the design process, I felt like the design would benefit from a more simpler approach to colours due to the already simple nature of the layout and overall design; I didn't want a freaky, over the top colour scheme for such a simple layout design. Looking at it now, while some could say the colour gives of a 'sad' or 'depressing' vibe, I think the design has benefited from my decision because it looks more streamlined and serious, and that's what my theoretical company is; serious about business. Overall, I think the design works the "contact us" brief to a T and does it in style while keeping to a minimum spec, and that's exactly what I set out to achieve.
