Safety

Coronavirus here. Coronavirus there. Coronavirus everywhere.

In many countries, coronavirus cases are still on rise and only steadily growing these past weeks. To those who are reding this, I hope for you and your loved ones to be safe and secure in these hard times. We can only brave this pandemic if we follow the safety norms appropriately.

I have seen many people not wearing their masks properly, not bothering to cover their nose (what's the point of mask then?) or maintain distance from strangers. We need to understand that government can only do so much – it is left up to us, people to protect ourselves. I have had my relatives get infected and then some face death. It is painful. Some may think isolation is not a big deal, but it comes with societal stigma that gets attached to you. People fear society more than death itself. Should we be risking it?

It is not just about wearing masks and not going out needlessly, but also about keeping ourselves healthy inside out. Maintaining proper hygiene, taking proper diet, strengthening our internal system to fight the virus should it infect your body. If you take care of yourself, you're taking care of everyone around you. I know it's already July and vaccines are almost ready but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

I wanted to make a COVID19 badge. I chose cheerful theme to represent the goodwill behind the message. I guess that's something everyone knows.

Take care everyone.
