Back when I was 14 or so, and desperate to become an architect, I begged my parents to get me this stunner of a drawing board.

As I try to retrace the steps I took into a career in design, this is one of the standout mementos.

I don't know how playoffs get launched here, or if this one has already happened, but it would be cool to see what object others have retained a fondness for from their childhood.
