The Bluey Moods

I've been painting abstract faces for over 20 years. It started when my grandfather was dealing with Alzheimer's. He was losing parts of his personality and I coped by drawing fractured faces. Later as I added more faces the concept evolved and became more about interconnectedness. This series is still evolving all these years later. In this piece I chose to explore using just blues and a rectangular layout.
