Copper Snake Talisman

This is one of many pendants I'm designing for my first app ever. I'm trying to make it look a little realistic, but exaggerated. I'm looking for critiques on this! How can I make the copper look more like a copper pendant? Is it effective? How is the snake layer style coming? The layer style will be applied to six other symbols. Any feedback is appreciated!
