Here are the rough sketches sent to David Sparks @MAcSparky for review and approval before inking and building the scanned images in Photoshop. Note the option between a .45 and a .38 Special.

I find doing rough sketches like this really helps me and the client understand what I will do a a really simple, quick way. I highly recommend sketching your ideas first, if you don't already.
