Web Type West
The previous thing I posted -- a pixel W -- was for a web type conference in Vancouver. We've decided to go with a more system-based identity that we can make patterns with etc etc. And that still, somewhat, refers to font hinting.
Points of interest:
It seemed reasonable to use fresh type that can also be used on the web; preferably something "hand-hinted" with care. So, after a bit of discussion with Frode Helland, we are using Telefon from the Monokrom Foundry. I'm excited to do U&LC headlines with this for the program, likely paired with Skolar.
More importantly!
There will be a Web type conference in Vancouver in 2014! This is a very good thing.
