Alexis Sans Type Specimen

Alexis Sans is a display typeface inspired by the relationship between architecture and skateboarding. Named after professional athlete and MIT graduate Alexis Sablone. Alexis Sans takes basic structural forms from modernist typefaces like Helvetica and Akzidenz Grotesk. It then features typographic moves such as reverse ink traps, wide apertures, and key hole shaped counter spaces. Alexis Sans revisits the relationship of typography and
architecture through the lens of skateboarding. Alexis is sans is yet to be completed and is still in the refining process. However here is a practice mockup type specimen poster.
