Winning logo for unofficial Playstation 4 logo redesign contest @99 Designs.

Initial idea was to create a logo out of Playstation’s iconic buttons of the controller. It was the perfect fit because everything was in relation with the number 4. Logo can be spelled “Play the Four”.

There are four famous marks of buttons: the square, triangle, circle and the X. The console was the fourth one that comes to market and the word “PLAY” also has four letters. The colors were chosen from the first original logo of Playstation which was, at that time, the console of new, revolutionary generation of video games, like the new Playstation 4. It has also four colors.
