Julius Caesar Logomark

Probably one of the most challenging logo design projects I've ever done. The Swiss clients were exceptionally detail-oriented, and after what I now recall approx 20 iterations, they finally fell in love with this version.

I guess they never ended up using it, so that was a bummer. But they still love it, and are extremely insecure about me uploading it on any of my online portfolios.

But since I like rebelling against authority, and feel this is a design worth sharing, I chose this as my very first entry on Dribbble over the 300 or so other designs I have.

I did this almost 4 years ago, back when I was still a newbie. I did this directly on a vector editing software without a paper sketch, and I clearly remember that getting Caesar's expression right was a nightmare. I wanted him to look calm, confident and authoritative. A true emperor.
