Nature Walks With You

I wanted to create a purely vector-based illustration using the pen tool. I love walks outside, especially with my canine companion! The gradient colors are intended to signify depth in perception and surface. The colors were chosen to be unabashedly gleeful and inviting, much like a well-lit sunset evening during summer. The hexagonal shape is a throw-back to my girl-scout days when my badges came in polygonal shapes of every number, but I earned them and felt super proud. Lastly, I couldn't resist putting a leaf in the 't'!
