Mike Salow Guitar Identity

Greetings Dribbble!! Glad to be a part of the community. I'll start it off with a logo I set out to create with an intention to rock just as much as the music. This is the new Identity Design for Mike Salow Guitar. \m/. Shout out to Eric Kidd @erickidd_design for the invite!

Concept: This is a logo design for a freelance guitar instructor and band member of multiple bands, with music ranging from heavy metal to groove oriented rock/hip-hop. The logo was intended to blend and create a monogram of his initials to form the subject matter itself, a guitar. Hard lines and flowing lines are used to represent the eclectic range of music that he specializes in. The brown/orange hues are drawn from the coloring on the instrument he is currently using to make a more personal connection between the mark and the client.
