Avalia X Megabolt "Ride On" Deck
Back in 2009 Megabolt formed as a group of creative people who wanted to better kids’ lives through art. Since then we have facilitated numerous art workshops and projects with kids across the USA.
Earlier this year we got together in Portland Oregon and facilitated a workshop with an amazing kid named Joe Henry. I teamed up with Joe Henry to create a skateboard deck design that is currently being produced by Wisconsin based skate company Avalia.
On June 29th 2013 we hosted Ride On to unveil Joe Henry’s Deck at Kamp Grizzly’s Production space in Portland Oregon. In support of the event we have teamed up with 47 artists and designers to create one of a kind skate decks to be part of a silent auction to help fund future workshops just like Joe Henry’s skate deck workshop.
