Ravelry Rebrand - Icons

As part of our rebrand, we reskinned the old Ravelry. The old site used icons throughout from various sources, so we decided to commission an icon designer to create an icon set just for us. This was especially exciting because Ravelry has many features that are unique to fiber arts and our website, which are therefore difficult to represent with stock icons.

We worked with the wonderful and talented Kirk Wallace (you can see his work at bone.haus, and I’ve tagged his Dribbble in a comment). He designed over 200 icons for us!

I created the animation in the first shot in AE, for the rebrand release announcements we shared on social media.
