UI // Dark Mode

Hello peeps,
the dark mode is one of the 2020 trends and we saw the quick spread of this mode in our UI.

There are anyway valid reasons why we should use it, like the long-term exposure on a light mode may have a negative impact on our eyes and brain; some people with visual impairments will do better with dark mode or simply because it looks nice.

Anyway, there are also reasons why not to use dark mode and opt for a light mode UI, like the better readability that we have with a light background and a dark colour text; in users with normal vision, light mode leads to better performance most of the time.

The use of light or dark mode is subjective and the user should have the ability to switch it, having intuitive and easy access on it.

This prototype is been realised with SCSS and JS, feel free to play with the Codepen prototype and leave any comment, feedback or thoughts!
