Flow: Start by tapping the G icon, then hit the checkmark in the upper right, then the check at the bottom. That will be how you add a new account when you first launch the app. Next you can try viewing the first conversation or changing your availability status in the top right. When you're viewing the conversation thread, you can try adding attachments, typing a message, changing the account you're sending from in the top right, or going back to view your new messages in the top left.

I was frustrated with the lack of decent IM apps that support G Chat / Hangouts. Not only were they ugly, but there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary complexity. So I wanted to cram all of the features you have with an app like http://verbs.im/ into just two core app "screens".
