Zapier case study of KISSmetrics
I'm excited to share the first of many content marketing pages for Zapier, an awesome service for connecting apps together and automating your work.
Zapier is crazy useful if you already understand how it works and the website converts those kinds of visitors really well on other SEO-focused pages, but it can be a little confusing for those that arrive on the home page organically or via word of mouth. So my goal was to humanize the product by focusing on a single customer that was doing something cool with it, in this case Nemo Chu from KISSmetrics and his advice on landing pages for webinars. Next, we're going to abstract this out into a template to apply to all kinds of other customers and their unique workflows.
I'm glad the team was game for doing the glossy magazine treatment and it's pretty fun to give a premium feel to such a simple article. There's some evidence that long content-packed landing pages can perform really well and it's going to be fun to test how this does in the real world.
