La Cave du Corsaire — Brand Identity
La Cave du Corsaire is a company specialising in the trade of wines and spirits and based in Saint-Malo (France), a city resolutely turned towards the sea and rich in history with its privateers, sailors and explorers. To support its development, the company contacted me to redesign its visual identity. The wish was to modernise its image and reinforce its uniqueness while retaining codes that refer to the history and heritage of this maritime city.
The new visual identity that I wanted to propose is based on an invitation to travel and to awaken the senses. Like a sailor taking to the sea in search of new lands, La Cave du Corsaire invites you aboard and takes you sailing towards new horizons in search of ever more intoxicating gustatory and olfactory pleasures. The world of the sea and its actors, historically known for being fine epicureans and lovers of good things, seemed the perfect fit for this new brand image.
