Cleveland Guardians

Cleveland Guardians? From a design perspective, I actually love Chief Wahoo. It’s probably one of my favorite sports logos of all time. Having said that, I can understand the sensitivity to it. This one was just for fun.

The Hope Memorial Bridge (formerly the Lorain–Carnegie Bridge) is an art deco truss bridge crossing the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio. Pairs of statues, titled the "Guardians of Traffic," stand on pylons at each end of the viaduct, symbolizing progress in transportation.

The idea for this concept was to take the historic attributes of these statues and create a streamlined and modern depiction to represent the city of Cleveland. The goal was to capture strength and loyalty, a nod to the unwavering sports fan base.
