WIP brand redesign, feedback needed

Working on revamping the Campus Bubble. I still feel something is missing or off - feedback on how to improve this is greatly appreciated.

Trying to keep it simple, flat, and icon friendly. I think I like the palette at the bottom but I'm getting lots of negative responses to the red. Could use some opinions on the typography too. Went with Neutra Sans for now.
