Coloring Book Cover

This is the cover design for a coloring book of my patterns (my daughter's idea). The partial coloring is intended, but I'm not sure about the colors. Originally I was in love with the blues and greens, but it's looking too mellow, not bright enough. I want it to "pop" on book shelves. I know, I sound like a client now. :) Suggestions?
