King Under the Mountain

I got an itch to do a flag that would have been waved by the King of Erebor (King Under the Mountain). This flag would have probably been carried by Thrór, grandfather of Thorin Oakenshield.

I wanted the symbolism to be pretty literal, seeing as the title, "King Under the Mountain" is literal. So I set out to depict the Arkenstone within a crown, and the crown under The Lonely Mountain. - all of which are under three stars (representing the Line of Durin). I wanted to do all of this while keeping a rigid, geometric style typical of the dwarves of Middle-Earth. Oh, and the color. Its gold. Dwarves loooove gold.
