CSS Gold Logo
I've been developing a new website called CSS Gold. It's a web design inspiration gallery. This is what I've settled on for the icon/logo. I'd love any feedback from the community on the design thus far.
Strictly speaking I know the coin face should probably actually have curly braces on it. However, my gut feeling is that what I've used is more universally recognized as representing the idea of code.
A more farfetched explanation is that coins generally have the portrait of a head of government or member of the royal family on the face. So for this denomination of my new currency I've chosen to use a representation of the monarch of the web design royal family, King HTML the Fifth.
I'd also very much welcome any feedback on the site itself. It's still pretty beta but most of the kinks have been ironed out. It's over at http://cssgold.com
