Citizen Glam Logo

Worked on this brand logo design. While I was making, I felt like the use of the fonts was so cheesy, but the client insisted on this.

It feels really clumsy to me still, but I've seen it so much that I can't tell whats wrong with it anymore. Kerning? Or is it simply outdated?
