Brave Shields introduction

Brave Shields is Brave's built-in privacy protection for users. It blocks trackers and ads, facilitating faster load times.

This is a Framer Classic prototype showing an initial tooltip introduction the first time the browser blocks anything on a website. With Framer I was able to create a prototype of the FTUX, with real text entry in the address bar an incrementing Shields counter.

Brave's users split into experts and non-experts. To avoid overwhelming non-experts, advanced Shields controls are hidden behind an 'advanced view', while satisfying all the needs of an expert user. Due to size limitations this prototype has been sped up, but this prototype shows all the states.
