Mammon

Mammon realized it wasn't really ice-cream weather. The sensation of fooling Fall, made it taste that much better. He stood in the brisk weather, pretending it was still a Summer day. Enjoying a tasty cold treat bought from an old truck wallpapered with weathered stickers of colorful treats (only 2 of which were currently available). Suddenly Mammon realized that maybe he had been pretending his entire life. What if everything really wasn't O.K.?
