Down in Chicago Album Artwork

This album cover was designed for a piece of music I composed, under my artist name Arnie. The music contains several brass instruments, so I believe the sound of the track could be associated with the city of Chicago. Therefore, this is where I drew inspiration from in terms of designing the album artwork.

I imagined my song being played somewhere like an auditorium or theatre, so I used an image of the iconic Chicago Theatre as the basis of the design. I then made tweaks to the copy on all of the signage so that it was relevant to my musical piece. For example, the rectangular sign at the bottom says, "a musical production by Arnie".
