Net Magazine Issue 247 Build Off

I was recently asked to be a part of the Net Magazine Build Off. The challenge was to design a fictitious homepage for a pizza delivery company embracing new technology. I created 'Pizza Nerd'.

The idea was that once the user has placed their order, they can keep track of their food from when it left the shop until it arrives on their doorstep. This is all done thanks to a camera mounted on the dashboard of the delivery drivers car and a digital thermometer in the pizza bag. Using Real Time Transfer Protocol, the data is recorded and relayed back to the user and presented on a Head Up Display styled UI. Once the user has received their confirmation email, they are given a unique URL which provides them with a Point of View stream of the drivers journey.
