Community Guide Cover

Cover for the annual Community Guide, which used the game show "Jeopardy" as its theme. The contestants were all people of area historical note -- Nellie Bly, pen name of American journalist Elizabeth Cochrane Seaman, Rachel Carson, author of "Silent Spring" and Willie Thrower, first African-American quarterback in the NFL, who played for the Chicago Bears. The guide featured facts, statistics and contact information for each of the 62 municipalities that made up the Valley News Dispatch's circulation area.
