It often seems complicated to fill out a brief form for a customer, especially for businesses that are just starting. So in some orders, I get the main idea of logo design not through the customer's brief form but through the friendly conversation of the first session, when the customer is excited about his/her idea.
The experience of Excelpedia was like that. Based on their expertise in working with Excel software, a young couple decided to start a business and teach their specialties by holding courses and workshops.
When I heard about this experience and idea, I realized that the element of being a couple should be used as the essential feature of the team and their business story, as well as the Excel software icon in the logo. With these two elements, I started the etude and finally reached this logo.
