Morskie Oko, Poland

Morskie Oko, which translates to Eye of the Sea in English. This lovely lake is located deep in the Tatra National Park, in southern Poland. The mountains which surround it are part of the the High Tatras mountain range, including the Rysy, which is the highest peak in the Polish Tatras. Morskie Oko is one of the most popular destinations in the Tatras, often receiving over 50,000 visitors during the vacation season. It is reached by foot in about two hours from the nearest road that allows motorized access.
