Jamal Logo - Final Stage

This is the final stage of my new personal logo and I'd like some opinions. I'm not looking to revise elements of each individual logo however. So basically I want you to pick between the option shown here, and the option in the attachment.

Some things to keep in mind about me is I want the logo to reflect sophistication while remaining simple. I like art deco styles to the simplification of the form was built to imply it. Please let me know what option you think is more worthy to be my new logo.
