Diversity makes us stronger
This started out as an exercise in character design and style experimentation. But it's made me think about all the people in my life that I've met from different places around the world and how they've helped me become a better person just by knowing them. Talking with a person who looks different than you, who speaks differently than you speak, is one of the most worthwhile things you can do. It's an exercise in connection and empathy, looking at the world from another person's perspective, sharing another person's struggles. You miss out on so much when you close yourself off to the other, or reduce individuals to the stereotypes of their culture. Keeping an open mind will help you experience more of this vast and vibrant world.
