Dávida - Blood Donation App
Dádiva is a mobile app that aims to improve the process of blood donation and encourage young people to become regular donators.
The challenge is to ensure the sustainability of Portugal’s blood banks by increasing the number of young donors between the ages of 18 and 25.
Insights
- Only 14% of the blood collected in Portugal is donated by young people.
- Most donations are made by older donors, and this number is increasing.
- Combined with population ageing, it compromises donor renewal and the sustainability of donations.
