Diem - Daily journal

I’ve been working on two apps during quarantine. Diem a daily journaling app and Carpe an app to keep and build daily habits and routines. I’m excited to announce that both are now available on the App Store!

At the beginning of the year, I learned about “one line a day” journaling as a simple way to start a journaling practice. I started exploring some app ideas and quickly landed on wanting to make an app that made journaling simple, rewarding and allowed you to look back at what you’d done on the same day over the years.

I’ve been journaling every day in quarantine with Diem and I can’t wait to look back at what I was thinking and feeling when this is all over. It’s been wonderful filling in entries for past dates, reliving my trip to Bali in 2017, day by day. A lot of my important memories over the past 6 years have of course been related to Acorns, it’s been fun looking back and making connections, one example was realizing that on April 25, 2016 was the first time Acorns appeared in the print edition of the WSJ, then two years later, on the same day, we launched Acorns Later, our IRA product :)

Diem is packed with fun features to help you stay motivated like streaks and earning badges. You can share these badges on social media as well as beautifully formatted images of any journal entries.

Start your daily journaling practice with Diem for just $0.99 per month, with a 7 day free trial so you can make sure it’s right for you.

I hope you give it a try! Download Diem today on the App Store.
