Improving safety on roads - AI + AR

You will probably all agree there is a lot to do in terms of improving safety on roads. Both for drivers and pedestrians. I was inspired by @plat4m and wanted to play a bit with another concept.

One of the potential idea could be combining augmented reality with AI. How? Hazardous or any other kind of unusual situation on road could be highlighted.

On that dribbble shot pedestrian suddenly walks in and AR notification is signalling to watch out. As a result, car slightly slows down and adjusts proximity. It could be especially useful for less experienced drivers so they can safely avoid unpleasant situation.
