DailyUI #012 - Ecommerce Shop (Single Item)

This is my #012 #DailyUI design.

Design Hint 💻 - Design an e-commerce shop. Is it simple for a local business or a large online retailer? Is it for clothing, shoes, handmade soap, or something else?

The Idea 💡 - The idea for today’s UI design is an e-commerce screen (single item) for a theoretical Laithwaites mobile app for Android. The colour palette will follow that of the Laithwaites official website (www.laithwaites.co.uk), with White being the primary colour and Purple being the accent colour. The plan is to design it in a way that looks modern, but also feels posh.

Final Thoughts 🧠 - I quite like it! I think I've got the layout of the design spot on with it looking spaced-out and simple, yet modern and posh. The added subtle effect of the neumorphic "add to basket" button gives the design a little more 3D-umph. The accent colour of Purple also makes the headings shine more, which I like. While getting some testing of my design, the users spotted the price almost immediately which was one of the most important features, along with the "add to basket" button and the name of the product - so that was great to hear. The blurred effect behind the image of the product also gave the design a more modern feeling, too. Overall, I am very happy with what I had managed to achieve for today's UI, and if anyone from Laithwaites ever sees this, I hope you like what you see.
