Requestr App Design
I was asked to create a brand for Requestr, an app that helps vulnerable people connect with their local community during their Covid-19 self-isolation. Features include requesting shopping and picking up a prescription.
I wanted to evoke togetherness within the logo, so I combined two elements that I felt best represented the brand.
Birds are considered powerful symbols of new opportunities that are there for you, even in times of adversity. I chose to illustrate a parrot, since they have the ability to talk, evoking a sense of companionship.
I then combined this with a speech bubble, showing that communication is key to togetherness.
