The South Is Rising Up Again

I had this come into my head last week or so. And then later that week I see the Banksy drawing, and I figured, well, I still need to get this out.

I honestly didn't give a crap about any statues. Coming down, going up, I think they are a waste of money. But honestly, after being in a privledged situation, I've never had to think about them. Some people don't get that privledge. Some people have to walk by statues every day that tell people that basically they are a piece of crap, that you don't matter. So lets take down dumb statues, and replace them with modern art. Replace the statues with people who have bettered humanity, not just white people. Let's replace the statues with parks to reflect on who we really are. With taco trucks. Because all parks need taco trucks
